Ed, You're on the right track/target, you will need the main control board 34001499(example only). We will need the complete model and serial number from the production tag on your washer to research and determine the correct part needed and the availability of the part(several control boards have been discontinued by the manufacturer). Thanks,

Bill for Model Number NFW7200TW

Machine works fine if empty, but under any load it will not go into full spin. Running "spin only" cycle to wring out the wet clothes, the machine tumbles in each direction as though trying to balance the load before increasing the speed. The timer stays at 8 minutes-to-go for a long time, then eventually jumps to 00 and the tumbling stops. Sometimes, even after turning off the power with the on/off button, the drain pump continues to run until unplugging the washer. Then, if you plug the washer back in, it is off until turning the power button back on. Everything works as it should until time for the spin. Is this the pcb-MEMs sensor, telling the control board the machine is not balanced so don;t run? Or, what else could this be?

Hello Bill, you would need to run the Service test cycle to locate the fault code the control board has generated. I have emailed the Tech sheet to you, follow the steps to access the Enter Service Mode and then Display Diagnostic codes. There is a description listed on the sheet describing what each code refers to.

Hermie V for Model Number NFW7200TW10

Washer was spinning out of control, walking across the floor, shut down at 8 minutes left on timer, and flashed a 3E code. Had drained and spun. Shut it off, waited a minute, and hit the cycle start, it then proceeded to rinse, spin slowly, drain, rinse, spin slowly, drain, etc. Did this for several minutes, however, the timer stayed at 8 minutes. Manually shut it down, opened and found the clothes spun dry. Started the next load and ran fine until final spin. Spun out of control, walked away from wall, stopped at 8 minutes, and flashed 3E again. Speed sensor???? It seems that it has lost the limit on the spin speed. If stopped and new cycle started, it will again get all the way to the final high speed spin before shutting down. Did not find a part listed as speed sensor. Is it part of the main board? Thanks much.

Hermie, The 3E error code is a motor failure or overcurrent, You will want to check the motor on the unit and the sensor. These would be the most likely cause for this issue.

Ed, it sounds like you have a loose or bad wire connection. Start by checking the connections at the pump and then trace the wires back to the control board.

Jim, The mems sensor would not have any bearing on the unit not draining. If the drain lines from the tub to the outside of the unit are clear of clogs and the drain pump has been replaced then check to see if the pump is getting power to it. If there is no power then go to the control board and see if there is power output from the control board to the drain pump. If there is then this will be a wiring issue and if there is not then the main control board will be the issue.

Hello Tammy. The only way your unit would have a sensor on it is if the new board kit was installed. Then it would be located on the top frame under the washer top panel.

Terry, The error code that you are receiving is a thermistor error and will want to test the resistance of the thermistor and the wiring to make sure that it is good.

Larry, Unfortunately the model number is not pulling up for us as being valid. With an invalid model number we would not be able to assist properly.
