Haole for Model Number MAH6700A I am continually getting a cycle interruption that brings up a code of 3E,and it seems to be just before a spin cycle. to get it running again, I open the door and move the clothes around then close the door, push the button to resume. Sometimes it works, when it doesn't, I can here about 5 ticks, 5 seconds more, another 5 ticks, 5 seconds then maybe 6 ticks, by the 6 or 7 set, if it doesn't start, then the chime starts and the code given is 3E. My suspicion is the spin cycle sensor is faulty because when itdoes work everything seems to be fine, the tumble motion and spin work great. It only seems to happen when it tries to do spin cycle. Again, 3E code.
Answer Hello Haole, This sounds like a motor or motor control issue. Note the service manual I've included in the attachment. I've included a second manual which only partially applies to your unit. The manufacturers refuse to make a complete service manual on any particular unit, as they say it saves them time and money to make generalized manuals that vaguely cover multiple units.
