Jj for Model Number Maytag MFD 2560 - HES WE B ought this several years back and it has never had a filter in the water/icemaker. The cap is blue with a protruding grip. seems quite tight using twist attempts.Don't know if just tight by years of sitting or if I need to push in & turn (CCW I assume) to remove so I can insert filter I bought. Suggestions please. Thanks. JJ ?
