Larry for Model Number ED2KVEXVQ01 Manual says I can use the dispenser without a filter in place. The water will just not be filtered. I would like to leave the filter out permanently . Is this ok and do I need a bypass cap. I have been running it without a filter with no problem and apparently do not need a bypass cap. True?
