William R for Model Number WRF 560 SEYW 02 This refrigerator has a water dispenser on the outside of one of the French doors. Can I run this refrigerator without a water filter? Do I need one of these bypass plugs that I see mentioned in other questions here? Will I still be able to get water from the door dispenser if I no longer have a filter?
Answer William, You can pull the filter out of the unit and do not require a filter bypass. The water and ice will work without the filter being installed.
