John for Model Number WRF736SDAM13 Will this unit work without the filter in and does the red light go off. is it best to use a bypass plug for this unit and if so does it turn the light off. And I am finding 2 different types of bypass plugs. Which is the correct one for this unit.
Answer John, This unit does not dispense the water without the filter. There is a filter reset on your user interface and I believe its the last button on the right press and hold until it counts down and it resets. Also, this unit does not use a bypass plug.
