Ellen for Model Number Wrs586fldboo I am trying to find a bypass filter for this refrigerator as I now use a separate filter for all water sources. I have tried multiple different bypass plugs but none have worked so far. Thank you!
Answer Ellen, Not all refrigerators offer a bypass plug but most will bypass when you remove the filter. If water doesn't flow when you remove the filter then that option wasn't available for your unit. Leaving that filter in place will not hurt anything and should be able to go years without replacing.
