Andrew for Model Number Whirlpool WRS571CIHZ01 I have a carbon whole house filter before my refrigerator, and I use an under-sink reverse osmosis system for my drinking water. My refrigerator is telling me I need to replace the filter, but I just want to remove it. Do I need a bypass plug or cap? Or can I simply pull the filter out and carry on? I want to make sure it doesn't leak. Thanks in advance!
