Answer Lupe, based on the manufacturer's technical information, the filter sensing switch not identifying a filter would be the cause of this. The display will continue to show this warning as long as the switch is not engaged. Unfortunately, the manufacturer does not list a compatible bypass plug for this model as it does not require one.
