Scott for Model Number gii500phw5 I just bought this unit and it is missing something in back I think it is a cond pump. Do I still need an open drain or is it closed with just the drain hose and vent tube.and where would I connect the electric wire to that is on the new cond pump.
Answer Scott, When installing the condensate pump the drain line will connect directly to the pump and then the pump line would go to an exterior source, whether it is to the outside of the home or to a sink drain.
