Ernie for Model Number gi15ndxzb Just moved into a house with an old non functioning whirlpool ice maker model gi1500xhb1. It has an inline ge filter ap717. Condensate line drains into the goose neck just below the sink. My question is: 1) Since the new model has it's own filter inside the ice maker, do I remove the inline ge filter? I have no idea how old it is anyway. So if I keep it, I suppose I need to replace it. 2) Assuming the old unit has a functioning condensate pump, can I use it on the new model or should I buy a 1901A pump. Thanks
Answer Hello Ernie. If your new unit has a filter, you can remove the inline on the unit. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, November 23, 2015
