Craig for Model Number KUIX305EBL0 I bought a KUIX305EBL0 ice maker to replace the old one that failed. I now realize that the previous owner didn't have a drain pump in this machine and I need one for my installation. The manual recommends Drain Pump kit Part Number 1901A, which is very expensive. My old Kitchenaid ice machine has a Beckett drain pump (DMD400AWP) that is perfectly functional. Can this pump be used in the newer ice machine?
Answer Craig, the Beckett drain pump could possibly work as it was used for older Whirlpool ice machines.
