Walt for Model Number MAV5000AWW The spin cycles seem to work OK except when the cycles are finished the clothes are still sopping wet. The transmission had been replaced 2 years ago and every thing worked fine for a year until the spin cycle started acting up several months ago. Now it is worse. As I had previously stated the clothes are sopping wet after any one of the three spin cycles. Can the problem be attributed to a bad pump as well as the belt. Also, is there a belt tensioner built into the pump to keep the belt tight? Thanks for your advice.
Answer Walt, There is not a belt tensioner. The way the belt wraps around the pulleys keeps it tight. You will want to check the pump for obstructions as this could most certainly cause the issue. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Thursday, November 21, 2013
