Deana for Model Number MAV4802ZU My washing machine still works but it ends up with a tub full of water, but the timer cycles around to off. I can hear it pump water out, spin, and refill. Sometimes I can switch to rinse and it cycles ok to the end, sometimes when it's done it's full of water.
Answer Hello Deana, It sounds like the drain pump may be your issue as long as you have checked to insure there is no lint and foreign object build-up in the hose before the pump. This also includes where the tub to pump drain hose leaves the tub because I have seen a wash cloth or childs' underwear in this area causing a similar complaint. As long as it's clear and the unit doesn't make a loud roar during the spin cycle, the drain pump WP35-6465 should take care of this problem. Read More...
