Rob for Model Number pav2300aww Ok, I have read some of the questions and answers and mine has combination to all. Washer will go through the wash cycle and stops when it's time to drain for the rinse cycle. I have drained the water and run the washer with no clothes in it and it spins fine. There is a noise underneath around where the water pump is. My thought was to replace the water pump, but when I took the belt off, it spun boths ways without hesitation, so I'm not sure if that's the problem. But the "grinding like" noise still has me concerned. I did smell something the first time after we discovered it was working, but it worked through a wash cycle after that.
