Mark Wallace for Model Number 10689553100 I want to replace the circulating pump on this Kenmore Elite ice machine. The original pump has a 5 wire harness plug, while the recommended replacement part (10489122) has only a 2 wire harness. This machine is less than 3 years old; is a replacement pump available? Answer Mark, I believe you are referring to the main connector of the pump harness.That harness powers your drain and circulating pumps and also water level sensor.Remove a plastic cover over your reservoir and you should see where the pump connects. Answer Mark, the re-circulation pump I am looking at has only 2 wires with a 3 prong connection. There is water level sensor that plugs into a connection by the circulation pump.Part number W11566406 is the correct part number for your model. Read More...
