John for Model Number GE Monagram model # ZDI15CBBH My ice maker makes a sustained "marching" noise after making a slab of ice. The slab of ice gets stuck to the chiller plate and does not slide off. I have cleaned the unit with nickle free cleaning solution twice. I have removed the cutting grid and have cleaned the sides of the chiller plate that extend vertically up from it. The entire plate is immaculate and shows no signs of wear or damage. What do you think?
Answer Hello John. It sounds like the reversing valve is not reversing to release the ice from the plate or the unit is not cycling off to release the ice.
