Sean Scott for Model Number KUIA15PLLS1 Hi..My circa 2005 machine sat dormant for 6 years and Covid-19 gave me time to repair it again. Problem is..Recirculation Pump was bad, bought new oem and installed it - worked!.However, I still have odd, intermittent cycles that the pump sounds like it's running dry and water reservoir is low. If I top it off manually-pump quiet again. Check water inlet flow, -not great, but 6 cups per minute. Think this model has the Control Board that, during the Harvest part of cycle, the Water Valve "on" time is limited to 1 minute. Dunno if that plays a part. Again,..it does this about 1 out of 6 cycles. Puzzled....don't want to but another $140 Recirculation Pump if the "dry runs" are causing damage?
Answer Sean S, Based on your information I would first check the installation and the position of the drain line, It sounds as if the machine is not holding the water for the complete cycles. The drain should be looped up and then back down to the drain so the water doesn't siphon out. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, May 29, 2020
