C. Claussen for Model Number NDG8805AWW The dryer will ignite and heat up, but it will take minimally two drying cycles to dry the load of clothes. I have tested all sensors and can't get conductivity on the temperature control thermistor. I have not tested the gas valve coils. The radiant flame sensor also tests good. Could I have other issues besides the thermistor? I guess I am not 100% convinced that is my only problem.
Answer Hello C. Claussen. It sounds like the venting system is clogged or kinked. You will need to check the vent and clean it out. Be sure and clean the vent pipe and the dryer air duct assembly. If the air flow is not good, the unit will retain moist air causing the clothes not to dry. Try running the unit with the vent unhooked from the back of the dryer and see if the dryer works properly.
