Sussan for Model Number mdg9700awm Dryer starts heating and then stops. Igniter glows and starts burning, seconds later it stops burning. I cleaned out vent and all parts. Dryer was working fine. This started after I cleaned out and changed rollers.
Answer Hello Sussan. You will need to check and make sure none of the wires inside the dry got unplugged while you were cleaning it and replacing the rollers. If they are good, you can test the flame sensor WP338906 It should read closed for continuity. If it is open, you will need to replace the flame sensor. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter.
