Howard for Model Number GGW9200LQ1 Is there a ohm test I could use to check the operation of the flame sensor currently connected to an ohm meter I have 0 ohms
Answer Howard, the flame sensor will not have a resistance reading because it is like an automatically resetting thermal fuse. When the ignitor reaches a certain temperature, the flame sensor opens up causing the voltage to go completely through the coils, and when the flame sensor no longer has heat applied, it closes again. The flame sensor should read continuity when in the normal state at room temperature. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, April 9, 2019
