Rico for Model Number lgb6200pq0 Gas dryer, it will heatup at the beginig, but after a few minutes will cooldown. I already test the thermal fuse with a continuity tester, but it seems to be good. What exacly do you mean when You say to check the airflow is good ? Thanks
Answer Hi Rico. Check the airflow to make sure it is strong and force full coming from the dryer. Then make sure your complete vent system is clear and the vent hood outside is working properly. Ohm the flame sensor beside the ignitor to see if it may be weak. It should remain closed until the proper temperature is reached. It is part # WP338906. More then likely your gas valve coils aer weak and opening during use. they are part # 279834.Dryer Gas Coils: Check the coils 279834 and see if they test good. You can test the coils using a multi-meter MA-DM1. The two prong coil will read 1,000-1,300 ohms, and the three prong coil will read 1,300-1,400 ohms across prongs 1&2, and 500-600 ohms across prongs 1&3. Thank you. Read More...
