William for Model Number MDG2300BWW Dryer heats up or 5-10 seconds, then the flame turns off. I changed both coils, Hi limit t-stat, and I changed the Igniter about 4 months ago. As soon after the flame turn off I test the Hi limit, there is no continuity, but after it cools down it works. It looks to me the flame is too high and trigging the Hi limit t-stat. How can I control the flame, does the flame sensor have something to do with it.
Answer Hello William. You will need to check the air flow and see if it is ok. Make sure the vent is good and not kinked. You can try running the dryer without the vent hooked up to test this. Hope this helps. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, April 5, 2011
