Tanzy for Model Number LGR6848AN0 My Whirlpool dryer will not get hot and I was told to replace either the heating element, coils, thermostat or the heating sensor. I have replaced the both coils and the heating element and I still don't have any heat. Which part do you think I should try next? Any suggestions?
Answer Hello Tanzy, You will want to check the thermal fuse for continuity. If the thermal fuse does not have continuity then it is bad and needs replaced. Check the flame sensor for continuity as well. No continuity means it is bad and needs to be replaced. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
