Ken L. for Model Number Whirlpool ED5FTGXKQ01 My ice maker is functioning, but there must be a leak. The ice toward the front of the unit becomes a solid. As if the unit is calling for water even when it doesn't need it. Do I need to replace the whole unit or is there a shutoff valve of some type? Does the replacement unit include that?
