Dean&Dog for Model Number mzd2766geb How do I adjust the freezer door for a better fit? I am on a well 35*on 40* off is there an adjustment to let more water in? Cubes are shallow at one end. Last, if a defrost heater has good continuity can the element still be weak?
Answer Hello Dean&dog. To adjust the freezer door, you will need to use the hinges and leveling legs. Make sure the unit is level. If not use the screws behind the toe panel to level the refrigerator. You can loosen the screws on the top of the freezer door hinge and move the door if needed. If the unit is not letting in enough water for the icemaker, you can remove the cover from the icemaker. There is a white plastic adjustment screw on the side of the icemaker module. Turn this screw for more or less water. If the heater shows continuity, it is good. The heater does not always glow red. Hope this helps. Read More...
