Randy What signals the water to come into the refrigerator. The water doesn't come into the refrigerator and it is not frozen. My ice maker is not making ice.
Answer Hello Randy. When the icemaker cycles, it sends power to the water valve to bring in water. This is just for a few seconds. You can test and see if there is power going to the water valve when the icemaker cycles. If so, and the water does not come in, you will need to replace the water valve. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter.
