Gene I have amana refrigerator model asd2624heq with icemaker problem. Water overflows into ice collection bin and freezer compartment. It works for awhile after cleaning up mess. Could it be secondary water valve? Any other ideas?
Answer Hello Gene. You will need to check and see if the valve continues to bring in water after the power to the valve has shut off. If so, you will need to replace the water valve. If there is still power being supplied to the water valve and it runs over, you will need to replace the icemaker D7824706Q. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
