Ben D. for Model Number w10190965 I just installed the new ice maker, but nothing yet. How long before it should at least start to spin the timing wheel? I there a reset button or something I should set to start it?
Answer Hi Ben. Since the weekend you normally should have Ice by now. There is a thermostat that has to "reach" freezer temperatures in order to allow ice production. You can remove the front white cover and jump between " T " and " H " with an isolated wire to advance the motor to rotate and automaticallly call for the water valve to send water to the ice maker once the arm is down and you remove the jumper within 1-minute. Thank you. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, September 6, 2011
