Rcr for Model Number ice maker 4317943 I just received the ice maker and noticed it didn't come with any instruction sheet, there doesn't seem to be any tab at the bottom of the maker in order to attach it to the refrigerator. it does have the two tabs at the top to slip over the screws and re tighten. Also the fill spout isn't like the one shown on the new maker with a loop for the fill tube to fit through. Could it be by chance a refurbished maker or a used one.
Answer RCR, The bracket at the bottom you would remove from the old one and put it on the new one. The fill cup may just have a u-shaped opening instead of a round opening but either will work.
