Daniel for Model Number 106.57562791 i have replaced the water inlet valve twice, a year or so between. neither time did the ice maker completely quit leaking into the ice. My question is, are there additional components inside the freezer that could be leaking or cause this symptom? Note: I was quite thorough about flushing out the water supply line and preventing any contaminants from entering the valve and i am on city water with a working pressure reducing valve set at 60 psi.
Answer Daniel, Check the water inlet tube and the fill-cup on the ice maker to make sure it is not obstructed and that the fill tube fits into the fill cup. Watch the ice maker going through a cycle and see if it is overfilling or if the water is missing the tray. You may need to replace the ice maker assembly. Read More...
