Darrell for Model Number Amana. SBI20KW. P1102509W Changed out the water supply line and the ice maker. Now the ice maker is not receiving water. Went back and went through all the steps again and still nothing. It was receiving eater and making some ice but the ice maker was starting to fail thus the change. What can be the problem now?
Answer Darrell, We sent you an email for testing the module on your ice maker. Either you are not getting voltage or temps is above 17 degrees. Temp issue could be a dirty condenser or fan issue, even a defrost issue can warm up a freezer to mid 20s. Voltage i believe comes thru the light switch in your freezer. Test points are L and N and should read 120 VAC with light switch pushed in. If you have power at the ice maker then it is a temp problem. Read More...
