I want to add an ice machine to my 2017 whirlpool refrigerator. Is this what I need and what other parts besides the water line to the refrigerator?

Michele, thanks for the question!!! You would want to order kit part number W11700559 and a water line. I like part number [AP4494531} if a water tap is there or PT25 if not.
