John for Model Number 10659262990 ice maker on my kenmore first water wouldn't shut off unless i shut ice maker off manually replaced valve seem to have fixed that problem. water is dripping just a little bit from front of ice maker over a period of time 2 or 3 cycles a little ice sickle starts and contiues to grow this was happening before water wouldn't shut off water coming from bottom of ice maker.
Answer John, a couple of things to look for. Make sure the ice maker itself is level in both directions. Remove the front cover and make sure the two lower mounting screws, on the control head are tight. Then slightly adjust the water level/fill time on the control head, turn the adjustment screw( on the right side of the control head) 1/2 turn (at a time) clockwise to reduce the water level in the mold.
