Answer Hi Gary. You may just have a bent ejector blade. You can remove the front cover and loosen the 4 - corner screws. Then you will have enough play to unjam the blades. If you see calcium build up in the cube areas, this will make ejection harder. You may ohm out the motor windings and the heater for resistance. Ultimately you may be a hole lot better off just to replace the whole ice maker part # 4317943. The thermostat needs to be closed at 14° in order for the motor to advance after the heater is on for approx. 6 seconds to help the ejection process. Thank You. Read More...
