Bob G for Model Number MSD2758GEB Plastic coating on ice tray is peeling. Can I re-coat it or just get a new tray, not the assembly. Also it seems to leak water down into bin, which jams up due to ice buildup
Answer Bob, Your best bet is to replace the complete icemaker assembly D7824706Q. Besides,, the ice cube mold is not available as a separate component, for your fridge. There are no replacement coating or chemicals to apply to the existing mold. Water dripping into the ice bin, could be due to the faulty icemaker, or a dripping fill valve 61005626, you may solve both your issues, when you replace the icemaker. Thanks Read More...
