Howard for Model Number 106.77292798 My ice maker leaks at the right front corner of the ice maker every time I make ice. Every time it drops ice and fills up with water, some of the water leaks out and forms an icicle on the ice maker. I have a cup in the ice bucket to catch the extra water and I have to empty it (a solid frozen mass) every day. The ice cubes are full size, not smaller.
Answer Hello Howard. I would look for one of two issues. If the water inlet valve WP2315576 is going into failure and closing too slowly, this will overfill the ice maker. The other think isn't as common but happens never-the-less. The ice maker is man made so periodically a crack will appear in the ice mold. Every time I've seen this the crack was undetectable until the ice maker 4317943 was removed and filled with water at the sink. I hope this helps you find the problem and have a great day!
