Reb How can I check the heater circuit in my Whirlpool side by side icemaker (icemaker is not on door), it fills up and makes ice, but will not cut cubes to allow them to eject?
Answer Reb, You'll need a multimeter, and it will need to be set on the lowest ohms resistance setting (R1) with the power off remove the white plastic front cover, insert one meter lead in the opening labelled " L" (the 6:30-7:00 o'clock position) and the other meter lead into the "H" opening (4:00 o'clock position). There should be a resistance reading of 72 ohms (+/- 10 %), Good Luck and Thanks Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, May 4, 2012
