John for Model Number maytag # MTB2456GEW Hi, My icemaker makes cubes but leaks alot of water at the same time into the bucket causing everything to freeze. Water leaks on the left side underneath, not where the water comes in. 2 questions: which would be the correct repair kit to fix it, and second what is causing it. Thank you.
Answer Hello John, If the enamel coating on the icemaker is cracked, the ice maker can leak. This is what this complaint sounds like.
