George for Model Number 106.55382400 My Icemaker is not getting power . This came up after it jamed an I used a heat gun to warm the ice to get it going agin.
Answer George, To test the ice maker for power you will need a multi meter TJMA-DMT3, Remove the white plastic cover on the front of the ice maker and insert the meter probes into the "L" and "N" openings in the front control module, you should have a reading of 110- 120 VAC. If you have the voltage, then you want to go with the ice maker kit 4317943 If not check the harness along the side of the assembly to see if it got damaged when you heated the ice maker. Here's some meter usage information should you need it [http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html] Good Luck Read More...
