John for Model Number 106.76239402 I bought this refrigerator 4 or 5 years ago. It was used in the basement for that lenth of time but we never used the ice maker. I gave the refrigerator to my daughter and I hooked up the ice maker to make ice but the arm won't go down. Is there any way to test this unit out?
Answer Hello John, First, make sure there is voltage to the ice maker. If there is no voltage to it, it can be in the middle of a cycle and the bale arm cannot be raised to turn it off.
