Answer Hello Bob. To test the water valve for the icemaker, you will trace the fill tube for the icemaker to the water valve. Then cycle the icemaker and test for power coming to the water valve W10408179. If there is power there, and no water, and the fill tube is not frozen, you will replace the water valve on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
