Jack H for Model Number MZD2766GEB My model MZD2766GEB Maytag refrigerator isn't making ice. The unit is turning to flip the ice out, it just isn't putting water into the ice tray. It's not leaking water anywhere and the water dispenser in the door is working fine. How do I check to see if the icemaker needs replaced or if it's the water valve etc? Thanks, Jack
Answer Hello Jack. You will test for power to the water valve when the icemaker cycles. If there is power there, and no water, replace the water valve on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
