Aldo for Model Number PSD265LGES How do I decrease the amount of water going into the ice maker tray, it appears that the water in the tray overflows over the top causing icecles on the side of the ice maker unit. Is there an adjustment I can make?
Answer Hello Aldo. Usually this is a sign of a bad icemaker or a bad water valve. If the icemaker shuts off the power to the valve and the water continues, replace the water valve. If it powers the valve too long, replace the icemaker. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
