Rick C. for Model Number 59653469300 My ice maker is dripping slowly when new ice is made, however after I removed the unit there is no leak at all. I assume the valve is OK. I looked inside the ice maker and in the front left it appears that the coating is chipped off and separating from the ice maker. Assuming the valve does not leak, is this the problem as the missing coating is where the plastic ice cube ejection auger rotates?
Answer Hello Rick. If the coating is coming off the icemaker, you will need to replace it. I would make sure the valve is not leaking. If it is good, then the icemaker should fix the problem. If the valve is bad, I would replace both parts, due to the coating issue. Hope this helps. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, April 26, 2011
