Answer Hello Rita, one way to tell is, if you can get the old one out, you should be able to put the new one in. This replacement ice maker D7824706Q mounts with a couple screws. You will likely need to re-use your old front cover, wire harness, and shut off arm from the failed ice maker. You'll need to line up the fill cup with the inlet tube and plug in the harness.
