Hello Jill, The first thing that you want to do is pull the cover off the icemaker and check the pin in the middle of the big gear on the motor module. If the pin is broken then you would need to replace the ice module W10190935. If pin is ok then you would want to check the thermostat and heater. This can be done by doing a continuity check. You would take the motor module off the icemaker and check the 4 pins that stick out. You want to go across the 2 at the bottom that are furtherest from each other. Then check the other 2. If you have no continuity then that is the part that is bad. If either of these are bad you should replace icemaker D7824706Q If these check ok and there are no burn marks on the motor module then you would want to check to see if you are getting power to the water valve when the icemaker calls for it. If you have power then you would want to replace the water valve. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
