Hello Fitz, If this is a whirlpool unit with icemaker on the side wall then there are 2 screws at top middle of icemaker you would loosen and one at the bottom that you would take out. This would be the same for maytag. The maytag may not have to 2 at the top but once lower is out the you would rotate icemaker bottom inward toward the middle of the freezer compartment.
