Don D for Model Number ED22TEXHN00 Ice maker is leaking water but it seems to splash all over the inside of the freezer. Tube seems clear but low Water is leaking and it seemd to not come out to supply enough water for ice. As well the tray maybe is leaking. So I can replace possbily the whole icemaker, fill valves etc?
Answer Hello Don, It may be the icemaker assembly that is leaking rather than the fill tube or water fill. The icemaker has a coating over it which you can check to see if it is deteriorating. If it is then you would want to replace the icemaker 4317943. If you are getting slow water fill it may be the water filter that is getting clogged causing low pressure. Read More...
