Larry for Model Number 106.70162990 Ice maker is not getting water to it. I checked for power at the valve and moved the arm up/down but still no power. Could the problem be the valve? I'm not sure if I should replace the valve or look at another part of the actual ice maker. Thank you
Answer Hello Larry. If the icemaker is cycling, but not sending power to the valve, you will need to replace the icemaker. You will only have power for a few seconds when the icemaker is in harvest mode. If there is power there, but the valve does not bring in water, you will need to replace the water valve WP2315576. You can test this with a multi-meter MA-DM1. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter.
